Abstract: The landscape of Threat Intelligence (TI) for cybersecurity is constantly evolving. That said, the model for the last 10 or so years, of gathering and sharing “intelligence” that becomes “classified” is coming to an end. The new wave of intelligence must be agile, open source, and immediately available. During this presentation, I will discuss the evolution of threat intelligence in the wake of new applications for sharing of open-source intelligence. For example, the precedent set by the Biden Administration during the Russian Invasion of Ukraine has demonstrated the benefits of what I call “intelligence now” vs traditional intelligence curation. The future of TI becomes very interesting in this light and we will discuss the opportunities it provides for the next 10 years. REGISTER 4/21 Presentation
