Abstract: OWASP has long been known for its Top Ten relating to common web application vulnerabilities. As more and more applications have been built or moved to the cloud, OWASP has started a new project to capture the risks facing cloud-based applications. The OWASP Cloud Native Top Ten is an initiative identifying the top risks for cloud-native workloads. Cloud-based applications face the common issues on-prem applications deal with and new risks based on cloud vulnerabilities. This talk will cover the project progression, the current Top Ten list, and how companies can use the list to secure their workloads further. It will be a great introduction to cloud risks for security professionals to start using the OWASP project in their work.
