Ethical Hacking and Countermeasure v6 Course

Description:
This class will immerse students in an interactive environment where they will be shown how to scan, test, hack and secure their own systems. The lab intensive environment gives each student in-depth knowledge and practical experience with the current essential security systems. Students will begin by understanding how perimeter defenses work and then be lead into scanning and attacking their own networks, no real network is harmed. Students then learn how intruders escalate privileges and what steps can be taken to secure a system. Students will also learn about Intrusion Detection, Policy Creation, Social Engineering, DDoS Attacks, Buffer Overflows and Virus Creation. When students leave this intensive 5 day class, they will have hands-on understanding and experience in Ethical Hacking.
Space is limited and the registration cut-off date is July 18, 2008. If you're interested, you need to make a commitment to the program ASAP, as this class will fill up quickly.
The Certified Ethical Hacker certification exam 312-50 purchase and registration
will be the responsibility of the student. The exam may be scheduled and taken anytime following the course at any PearsonVue or Prometric testing centers.
Ethical Hacking and Countermeasures course mission is to educate, introduce and demonstrate hacking tools for penetration testing purposes only. You will be asked to agree that you will not use the newly acquired skills for illegal or malicious attacks and you will not use such tools in an attempt to compromise any computer system, and to indemnify EC-Council with respect to the use or misuse of these tools, regardless of intent.

The Study Group meets once a week
for 13-straight weeks. It covers all
10 CISSP domains, with separate
sessions dedicated to each domain.
Because of their size, the
Telecommunications and Cryptography
domains are covered over two
sessions each. The final session is
dedicated to a preparatory CISSP
test and/or additional review,
depending on the requirements of the
study group. To register for the
