In the past, as an added
service
to our members,
ISSA-NOVA had assumed
responsibility for reporting
Continuing
Professional
Education (CPE) credits to
(ISC)2 on behalf of
ISSA-NOVA members
who attend the
monthly Chapter meetings.
ISSA-NOVA has diligently
reported the
CPEs to (ISC)2 in a
timely manner after each
meeting; however, several
members
have informed us
that the CPEs were not
accurately noted in their
(ISC)2 CPE
reporting profile.
ISSA-NOVA has made several
attempts to correct these
problems with
(ISC)2, but unfortunately
the problems persist.
Therefore, given
that there is little
confidence in the process,
the ISSA-NOVA Board has made
a
decision that you,
as a Chapter member, will be
better served by managing
your
CPE credits directly
with (ISC)2 through the
(ISC)2 website, and the
Chapter is
no longer providing
this service as of February
2006.
